Corporate Center Pasadena Particpates in Parking Day!

As many of you may know, Macy's Pasadena on Lake Avenue is currently closed for seismic work as well as a major remodel. Macy's has announced that the store is scheduled to reopen in mid-November and a community celebration is planned. The historic 1947 building will feature numerous upgrades including restoration work on some of the architectural features, expanded merchandise departments, new flooring, new lighting and other improvements. Areas such as women's shoes, fashion accessories and women's apparel will see new departmental designs and increased merchandise assortments. The Macy's building, the first department store in Pasadena, is considered an architectural treasure and Macy's has worked closely with Pasadena Heritage to ensure the historical elements are treated with the appropriate respect and care. For the grand reopening, Macy's will be hosting a Community Shopping Day offering a chance for charities to fund-raise by selling $10 tickets to the event.
