The South Lake Avenue Streetscape Improvement project is underway and soon to be completed. Please visit the South Lake Business Association's website www.southlakeavenue.org to view pictures of the construction in progress and obtain more details on the project.
The South Lake Business Association recently launched the District's very first clean and safe programs. This encompasses two Ambassador Guides and one Day Porter. The Ambassador Guides will patrol the entire District Tuesday through Saturday between the hours of 10:00am to 6:00pm. The South Lake Business Association has also enhanced the District's cleaning program to now include:
- Increased sidewalk pressure washing
- Increased sidewalk and street cleaning
- A Day Porter to assist with various cleaning tasks
The South Lake Business Association's newsletter is a source of information and news for businesses and property owners within the South Lake Avenue Business District, the City of Pasadena and residential communities. We are currently accepting submissions for the December 2008 newsletter so if you are a South Lake Avenue business or property owner and would like to participate in the newsletter, please e-mail your submission to slba@southlakeavenue.org by November 20th.

Macy's Re-Opens November 22nd! Macy's Reopens at 10:00am on Saturday, November 22nd!
Macy's celebrates reopening with Community Shopping Day -- Saturday, November 22nd. With less than one month to go until Macy's returns to Lake Avenue, the store is busy putting up holiday decorations and placing new merchandise items. Customers who attend the opening day festivities on Saturday, November 22nd will be treated to events throughout the store, including:
- an INC fashion show featuring the Tournament of Roses Court
