The South Lake Avenue Streetscape Improvement project is nearing completion. Please visit the South Lake Business Association's website www.southlakeavenue.org to view pictures of the construction in progress and obtain more details on the project.
The South Lake Business Association's newsletter is a source of information and news for businesses and property owners within the South Lake Avenue Business District, the City of Pasadena and residential communities. We are currently accepting submissions for the January 2009 newsletter so if you are a South Lake Avenue business or property owner and would like to participate in the newsletter, please e-mail your submission to slba@southlakeavenue.org by December 20th.

Wanted Shoppers!
 Assistance League of Pasadena will be keeping their Craft Fair Gift Shop open on Friday evening's until 7:00pm between November 22 and December 19th. The Craft Fair Gift Shop is a consignment shop located at 820 East California Blvd. Everything in the shop is hand crafted by men and women over the age of 50. Volunteers sell the handcrafted items so that the profits from the sales can be returned to the seniors. It is a philanthropy of Assistance League of Pasadena. For more information call 626-795-4991 or come shop Wednesday to Saturday from 11:00am - 4:00pm. There is free parking behind the shop off Hudson. Custom orders are welcomed! |

At this third of four public meetings on PWP's 20-year plan for meeting Pasadena's energy demands, independent consultant Pace Global Energy Services, LLC will present preliminary data on the projected cost and environmental impacts of the various energy resource scenarios under consideration. A public discussion will follow on how to balance Pasadena's economic, environmental and service reliability objectives when setting the city's long-term energy policy.
