The event is presented by Logix Federal Credit Union and is co-sponsored by Corporate Center Pasadena. Guests can enjoy mouth-watering offerings from over 20 South Lake Avenue restaurants, live cooking demos with celebrity chefs, music performances by internationally known bands, a vendor village and more! SEPT 25: PUBLIC HEARING RE: WATER RATE STRUCTURE & PROPOSED RATE CHANGES
The Pasadena City Council has scheduled a public hearing on September 25, 2017, regarding proposed changes to the water rates and water rate structure. In August, Pasadena Water and Power (PWP) customers were mailed a Public Hearing Notice advising them of the proposed changes. The proposed changes to PWP's water structure and water rates are necessary to reduce reliance on meter connection sizes to allocate water and to recover increased operating costs. SPENDING TIME OUTDOORS?
Eggs from the Aedes albopictus mosquito that can infect humans with viruses such as Zika, dengue and chikungunya have been found in monitoring traps in Pasadena, the Pasadena Public Health Department (PPHD) has announced. Health Officials emphasized there are no reported cases of locally transmitted Zika or the other two viruses by this type of mosquito in Pasadena.
