NOTICE OF CONSTRUCTION
South Lake Avenue Pedestrian Lighting Project
On May 15, 2023, the City of Pasadena awarded the Lake Avenue Pedestrian Access Improvements Project to Elecnor Belco Electric, Inc. The portion of this project that corresponds to South Lake Avenue was originally approved by the City of Pasadena Council in 2007 and includes the installation of pedestrian lighting along South Lake Avenue. Project funding was secured in 2023 and construction is scheduled to occur from October 2023 through July 2024. The South Lake Business Association, in partnership with the City of Pasadena, has been a long time advocate of this project to improve lighting along South Lake Avenue and add vibrancy to this thriving area.
Pedestrian friendly elements included in this project:
- 2 Signalized Crosswalks
- Pedestrian Lighting
- Upgrades to the 2 Del Mar Traffic Islands
